So, how do you get to the point where your business can begin to use CAMS? Here are the stages that we work through with you to get to the point where CAMS is part of your everyday business processes.

Implementing | CAMS

Stages of implementing CAMS:

Lets assume that the decision to license or buy into CAMS has been made. What happens next?

Choose a champion:
Your business selects a Project coordinator (with sufficient seniority) to champion the project and to organise staff who can liaise with AES over the business issues which will be accommodated. This way no one group will have a large workload preparing for CAMS outside their normal job function.

Server access:
We can provide access to CAMS on our own secure servers, using Software as a Service ( SaaS) or we can install CAMS on an internet capable server in your business, so your staff can connect to a web domain or via VPN to an internal IP address.

Confirm the data:
We will talk with your team to identify the data required for the installation plus whether any legacy data should be included. Most installs of data can be done either through XML transfer or simply via spreadsheets, which can come from your older systems or from files output from your teams computers.

Configure the system
We will configure CAMS to meet your business requirements and perform alpha testing so you can be assured of a sound working system.

Install for testing:
Once the system is ready to go, we upload it to a test/training server, so that selected members of your teams can review the data and confirm it is fine. To do this we can work with this group and train them on system usage. This will permit them to begin working with the system and to check out whether ther are any issues.

Staff training:
Once Testing is complete we can offer staff training either on a program of F2F seminars covering all aspects of CAMS and its use in the business, or you might wish to use your testers to cascade training to their colleagues. We can optionally provide training materials in paper format or as online training course. (both included in our F2F training).

Go live:
As training progresses we take the system live. This can often be done in stages to match training timescales, and we can offer on site support for each go live, where we operate a surgery for staff to call with problems or questions and we also work directly with staff to make go-live as easy as possible, for the business.

Support and Helpdesk:
We also offer a comprehensive package of support and maintenance with a helpdesk which links your sites with our offices, so that wherever your people are working, they can get help and support with CAMS online or by phone.
