Sales and Marketing
As well as the Administation and houskeeping module, CAMS has five Sales and Marketing modules:
Customer Data Module
This contains a profile of your customers, which can be built partly from your current customer data files. But what else goes in here is decided by your needs to be aware of how your customers behave, how they make use of your business(es) and how you categorise each customer. Data from this module can be transparently used by any other module, for example the address for product despatch. Customer Data can be localised for currency and selected data fields can be entered in the local language.
Customer Contacts Module
Tracking your contacts in each of your customers businesses, this module monitors who to deal with for management issues, sales, purchasing or technical. This section can include personal information which supports business selling strategies.
Call Reports Module
Each Account manager can report on the outcome of Calls, Visits and Meetings with your customers. Built in here is the ability to enter customer requests which can be read by Labs, Tech staff or Production. The Call report Module becomes a key tool in measuring effectiveness of sales and also provides information on how realistic customers are about their ordering timescales.
Complaints Module
If your customers have problems with your products or support and sales then this module will track complaints. As you add complaints, you can share these with technical staff to help resolve them.
Reporting Module
The reporting module enables staff to create their own reports and share reports with colleagues. Reports cover any element of the CAMS system so it is possible to look at sales history, or customer requests or identify those customers who rarely submit orders or have contact with the business. Also you can track complaints to identify trends for example by products salesperson or by customer.
